I don't know what is wrong with the the ministry of defence/MOB,i don't know why the retired members of the the Nigerian armed forces should be treated with such cruelty,I don't why they should be subjected to a verification exercise when their monthly allowances/forth quarter arrears has not been paid, some of these old and feeble veterans who wasted their youthfulness serving this nation will have to travel from point A_B to get verified only God knows how and then when they get to the verification centers,they will be allowed to sit under the stinging sun for hours with out any provisions for shelter, is this the Thanks they will get for serving this country meritoriously,it beats my imagination to even think that the president and the minister of defence are both military pensioners and yet nothing is been done to bring succor to the sufferings of this men and women. Yet one very important campaign promise of Mr President is to alleviate the suffering of pensioners.
